Optometrist

Dr. Patrick Dollenmayer O.D.

Dr. Patrick Dollenmayer joined Dr. Smiley in the practice of Optometry in the summer of 1991. Dr. Dollenmayer grew up in Gahanna, Ohio, and graduated from St. Charles Preparatory High School before proceeding to The Ohio State University for both his undergraduate studies and doctorate degree.

Dr. Dollenmayer is elated that the prestigious College of Optometry at The Ohio State University was practically in his “own backyard.”

Dr. Dollenmayer is a proud member of the American and Ohio Optometric Associations and has been involved in training tomorrow’s optometrists as a clinical instructor for the Ohio State College of Optometry. He is the “family” Optometrist and accepts patients from infants to seniors. Dr. Dollenmayer was also recently recognized by the OSU College of Optometry as a notable alumnus.

Dr. Dollenmayer enjoys playing his guitar and singing at various venues in the area, as well as travelling with his all-optometric band, providing entertainment for national optometric education meetings. He also enjoys cooking for his friends, his wife Sherry and their 4 children.

Optometry

Dr. Jill Danker O.D.

Dr. Jill Danker joined Columbus Eyecare Associates in April of 2021, upon Dr. Smiley’s retirement. Dr. Danker received a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University in 2015 and her Dr. of Optometry from the OSU College of Optometry in 2020.

Dr. Danker was the recipient of the Advanced Ocular Care Clinical Excellence Award. Dr. Danker is affiliated with the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association.

Dr. Danker is a 2010 graduate of Olentangy Liberty High School, and an avid Buckeye fan and a four year member of The O.S.U. Marching Band (T.B.D.I.T.L.), where she played trumpet.

Dr. Danker is accepting patients of all ages, and looks forward to being your family’s Optometrist.

Beth

Beth began her career in the optometric field in 1985 after moving from Sugarcreek, Ohio. She has been working for the doctors and patients of Columbus Eyecare Associates since 1988. With her extended relationships with the patients of Columbus Eyecare Associates, she has become the “face” of the office, as she has always been at the front desk to help with all patient inquiries.

Terrie

Terrie is from Columbus and brings to Columbus Eyecare over 30 years of optical experience. Terrie received her Ohio Spectacle Dispensing License in 1997. She enjoys working with the entire optical team, including the doctors, techs and lab specialists to assure that the highest quality of care and service is delivered to the patients.

Jennifer

Jennifer came to Columbus Eyecare from Denver, Colorado, in 2008. Her background includes experience in medical billing and insurance, but she really enjoys working as an ophthalmic tech for Columbus Eyecare.
