Dr. Ted Smiley
Dr. Smiley has done research in the areas of new contact lens designs and materials as well as contact lens solutions. He has also contributed to the clinical design of ophthalmic equipment for diagnosis of various eye problems. He is a published optometric journalist in all areas of his research.
Dr. Patrick Dollenmayer
Dr. Patrick Dollenmayer joined Dr. Smiley in the practice of Optometry in the summer of 1991. Dr. Dollenmayer grew up in Gahanna, Ohio, and graduated from St. Charles Preparatory High School before proceeding to The Ohio State University for both his undergraduate studies and doctorate degree. Dr. Dollenmayer is elated that the prestigious College of Optometry at The Ohio State University was practically in his “own backyard.”
Dr. Dollenmayer is a proud member of the American and Ohio Optometric Associations and has been involved in training tomorrow’s optometrists as a clinical instructor for the Ohio State College of Optometry. He is the “family” Optometrist and accepts patients from infants to seniors. Dr. Dollenmayer was also recently recognized by the OSU College of Optometry as a notable alumnus.
Dr. Dollenmayer enjoys playing his guitar and singing at various venues in the area, as well as travelling with his all-optometric band, providing entertainment for national optometric education meetings. He also enjoys cooking for his friends, his wife Sherry and their 4 children.
